Some Music Has Been Added

Well, I finally unpacked my reel-to-reel tape recorder and transferred about 3 hours of music to my computer. Lots of work, but the results have been rewarding. The music holds up well after 40 years. One thing I noticed was that we had some amazing pianists! I have another 3 hours of music to transfer. All told about 120 pieces to transfer, organize, and post. Stay tuned.

  1. What a great time seeing everyone today. I’m not sure how and where to download some of this memorial music. Can you walk me through it I use a iPad. Thanks Janice. I loved your memory of Sonja.

  2. I am not familiar with iPads so I did a little research online on the easiest way to play wma music files. I use a program called VLC Media Player on my Windows computers and Android tablets. It is also available for iOS and iPadOS through the Apple App Store. It will play lots of video and audio formats. Here is a link to its web site with more details.

Once it is installed, you should be able to download the files from the FGBI Music page and then listen to them using VLC.
